Community Multidiagnostic Blood Analysis (CMBA) is offered each fall. Participants' blood samples are tested to detect diseases of the heart, liver, thyroid or kidneys; diabetes; anemia; and prostate cancer. Testing is performed locally at Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital; results are then sent to the participant’s family physician for interpretation. Participants receive an explanation and a copy of the results.

Each participant is required to fast for at least 12 hours prior to testing (14 hrs is recommended),
BUT PARTICIPANTS MAY DRINK ALL THE WATER THEY WISH AND SHOULD
CONTINUE TAKING MEDICATIONS, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
