SSMH's Cardiopulmonary Therapy Services (CPT) provides various respiratory treatments and a wide range of diagnostic tests for both cardiac and respiratory problems, such as stress tests for heart and lung function screenings to determine breathing capacity. Also provided are EEG and sleep study testing.

Services are offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Although CPT does not provide home care services, when requested the department will work with Social Services, nurses, patients, and families to help secure information and/or equipment as needed.

CPT is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
