At Laurel Health System, we appreciate and recognize the hard work of all of our employees. We're proud to employ such dedicated, diligent staff, and we’d like to take a moment to formally acknowledge employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Employee Recognition

Recognized by the Board for Commitment to Education

On August 23, 2011, the Laurel Health System Board of Directors recognized Meg Larson for her selection as Bradford-Tioga Head Start's 2011 Employee of the Year.

Meg has been with BTHS for nine years. In 2002, Meg began her journey with Head Start as a lunch aide, and in 2008, she transitioned to the role of teacher's aide in the Canton AM classroom.

She was recognized for her ability and willingness to lend help to other employees, often helping out the afternoon classroom in addition to her morning class duties. During the year, Meg stepped in as lead teacher for a month while a new teacher was hired, then welcomed and assisted the new teacher to ensure she acclimated to the dynamics of the classroom.

A patient, caring, hard worker, Meg is very passionate about the children and families that she works with at BTHS. Currently, she is actively pursuing her associate's degree.

Congratulations, Meg!
