Description:

The Cook's Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all dishes and utensils used, and of the kitchen serving areas in accordance with sanitary regulations. Works closely with all dietary personnel, with some interaction with nursing personnel. Prepares/handles food and beverages in a palatable and appetizing manner in accordance with established recipes and procedures, and in accordance with sanitary regulations. Stocks floor nourishment and supplies, and sets up and works the cold station on the dinner tray line. Will take food carts to floors as needed, and will provide meals, as needed, for residents and visitors. On the job training will be provided.

Must be flexible, as part time hours will vary. Must be able to follow verbal, written and demonstrated instructions. High School diploma or GED. EOE
