With a focus on preventative health, Laurel Wellness Centers, located in Blossburg and Knoxville, offer occupational health and community fitness services including occupational and physical therapies, McKenzie therapy, work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, and exercise rehabilitation. The Blossburg site also offers cardiac rehabilitation service, a physician-prescribed, 12-week program which consists of closely monitored exercise as well as education on diet, cholesterol, medications, and the importance of exercise. Lifestyle classes are also offered, including classes in stress management, nutrition, substance abuse awareness, and CPR.
Memberships are available on a six-month or yearly basis, or you may purchase a single visit pass or a book of 10 single-visit passes. Senior citizens ages 62 and over receive a 10 percent discount.
