WELLSBORO, PA—Student musicians delighted residents at The Green Home in August with compelling performances by brass and string ensembles.
The program featured classics by Haydn and Bach as well as ragtime and a modern duet between trumpet and synthesizer. Students from across the United States as well as several international students performed as soloists, trios, and quartets, including Violist Sarah Lyle of West Virgina, violinists Viviane Hirschi of Switerzland and Alexey Zverev of Russia, horn player Jennifer Yealy, cellist Andrei Romanov, and trumpet players Ryan Satmary and Steve Bailey, all of Maryland.
Endless Mountain Music Festival and The Green Home arranged the free afternoon concert featuring music students who performed during the EMMF concert series. The event is part of a host of activities featured at The Green Home, a nonprofit, skilled nursing home providing both short-term rehabilitation services and long-term care services for residents of Tioga County and the surrounding communities.
Located in downtown Wellsboro, TGH offers around-the-clock professional nursing services; rehabilitation services including speech, occupational, and physical therapy; medical social work and counseling services; nutrition services; podiatry services; radiology services; dentistry; and a variety of activities and recreational programs.
