Halloween Goes Retro at TGH

WELLSBORO, PA—With that special brand of 1980s chiffon-and-punk, The Green Home’s staff donned big hair and sleeves for a 1987 prom-themed Halloween bash. Residents also got in on the costume pageantry, featuring beautiful gowns, bright colors, ghoulish masks, and silly hats. On October 27, trick-or-treaters visited with residents as they collected tasty treats, and on all Hallow’s Eve, the Green Home held an afternoon Halloween party with autumn favorites—cider, rice crispy treats, and pastries.

The Halloween celebrations were part of a host of activities held regularly at The Green Home, a nonprofit, skilled nursing home providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services. For more information about The Green Home, call (570) 724-3131 or visit laurelhs.org.
