Help Prevent Summer Blood Shortages at July 2 Drive

WELLSBORO, PA—Summer weather means holiday travel, and during heavy traveling seasons, accidents increase. Help prevent summer blood shortages at Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital’s Community Blood Bank drive on Monday, July 2 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the SSMH Board Room. First Citizens National Bank will sponsor the drive, and two $25 chamber bucks certificates will be raffled off for participating donors.

Additionally, donors can register at the drive for a chance to win a Kindle Fire accompanied by a $100 Amazon gift card; all donors at the CBB's various July drives will be eligible to sign up for the Kindle giveaway. All are welcome to donate as long as it has been 56 days since last donation, and you are at least 17 years of age (16 with parental consent).

Appointments to donate can be made if preferred, but are not necessary. If you have any questions about donating or would like to make an appointment to donate, call Gerard Doran at 723-0131 or gdoran@laurelhs.org.
