Labor Prep & Comfort Topic of Next Expectant Parents Class

WELLSBORO,PA--On Tuesday, November 13, Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital will hold a free Expectant Parents class entitled “Labor Preparation and Comfort Techniques” from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Board Room.

Attendees will learn about relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and position changes. This class is designed to enhance comfort during pregnancy and labor as well as provide suggestions for the mother’s support person. The class is part of a cycle of classes addressing the various concerns of expectant parents, including labor preparation, physical and emotional changes, infant care, and feeding techniques. Participants may join at any time in the cycle. Walk-ins welcomed. Classes are not sequential, and participants may join at any time during the cycle.
