Neonatal Resuscitation Class Offered Oct. 30

WELLSBORO, PA—Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro will hold a Neonatal Resuscitation course on Tuesday, October 30, in the Hospital Board Room from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This course is based on the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association's international guidelines for “Emergency Cardiovascular Care of the Newborn.”

The standard-length Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider course consists of seven lessons. Beth Mossman, RCP-R, Nellie Chalmers, RCP-R, and Amy Bickhart, RN will serve as instructors. Successful completion of each lesson requires a passing score on the written evaluation for each lesson, as well as successful completion of the performance checklist.
