WELLSBORO, PA--Recently, Angelo Serva, Laurel Health Pro-Am Committee member, presented Pete Herres, Director of Recreation, with a check for $4,000 for Wellsboro Parks and Recreation. The program has been applying for funds since the tournament's inception, using the support to further recreation activities to keep the kids exercising, active, and healthy.

Funds were raised during last September during the Laurel Health System Pro-Am Golf Tournament, and they will be used to purchase new equipment and maintain approximately twenty youth programs, including basketball, wrestling, softball, swimming, golf, and soccer teams.
