On Tuesday, April 13, residents from The Laurels took an exciting tour of Wellsboro and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon via local trolley with driver and tour guide Tony Yeager. WELLSBORO, PA—On Tuesday, April 13, residents from The Laurels took an exciting tour of Wellsboro and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon via local trolley. Residents Ethel Gyekis, Arlene Carlyle, Jane Barndt, Jean Rothrock, Ava Vogt, Charles Wilson, Alma Mosher, Gladys Piell, Pat Sweely, and Theo Zdzinski listened as trolley driver and tour guide Tony Yeager spoke about local landmarks, wildlife, and the history of the area.
Residents and staff members April Yungwirth and Kathy Heindel then enjoyed a picnic lunch while learning how the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon was first established.
