WELLSBORO, PA—Take a trip to the Victorian era with a free Victorian Tea! The Laurels, 39 Central Avenue in Wellsboro, will hold a free Victorian Tea open house as part of Dickens of a Christmas on Saturday, December 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to warm up from the cold as they take in The Laurels’ lovely decorations and costumes and partake of tasty refreshments. Participants are also welcome to visit with residents and staff, go on a tour, and learn about the facility.

The Laurels Personal Care Home blends the services and security of traditional residential life with the pride and privacy of living in a personal apartment. The caring, nurturing environment is designed for individuals aged 62 and older who may need help with personal care, but still want to live independently. Trained, supportive staff is on hand 24 hours a day to ensure that all services are available whenever they are needed.
